Job Description Summary
This is a recruitment for a short-term/temporary position.
Under supervision of the Renewable Energy Camp Facilitator, Cuesta College’s lead instructor for the camp, share supplemental materials and assist students with active engagement in topics related to renewable energy.
A 4-day camp for high school students is planned for Monday-Thursday June 23-26, 2025 at Paso Robles High School. Two or more High School teachers in a STEM field needed to assist with delivery and oversight of the sessions
Essential Functions & Qualifications
- Assist with presenting topics related to renewable energy, environmental impact, and relevant career pathways
- Lead small groups in renewable energy-related projects
- Participate in an orientation to review curriculum and activities for renewable energy
- Assist with the implementation of the camp
- Oversee classroom management and monitoring of participants
- SLO County high school teacher with a minimum of two years teaching experience in STEM
- Demonstrate a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of staff and students and of staff and students with physical and learning disabilities.

Assignment Details
Immediate need beginning in late Spring/ early Summer 2025:
- Up to 10 hours planning, development, orientation, and preparation
- Monday-Thursday June 23-26, 2025 (min. 6 hours per day, min. 24 hours total)
- Location : Paso Robles High School
