Are you an experienced Project Manager or Superintendent with a passion for demolition, safety, and environmental compliance? We want you on our team! PTS Advance is seeking a Onsite Demolition Representative to observe and document utility and industrial sector abatement and demolition projects where we provide engineering support.
What You'll Do:
As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring demolition and abatement activities are executed safely and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Review & Documentation
- Review contractor submittals, waste management, dust control, and more
- Provide responses to Request for Information (RFIs)
- Review monthly contractor invoices and schedule updates
Abatement/Demolition Observations
- Document onsite activities and ensure contractor adherence to safety and execution plans
- Confirm proper training documentation for contractor staff
- Supervise air monitoring during abatement
Project Coordination & Meetings
- Facilitate project kickoff and weekly progress meetings with clients & contractors
- Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and reports
Waste Management Coordination
- Confirm waste documentation is in order and in compliance with DOT regulations
- Track waste shipments and ensure all necessary documentation is in place
What We're Looking For:
Experience: 10+ years of experience as an onsite superintendent/project manager in the demolition industry or with an engineering firm, especially within power plants, industrial, and commercial structures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with relevant experience (Engineering discipline a plus)
- OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER and 30-hr OSHA Construction Safety Training required
- Familiarity with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
