Technical Support Operational System Team is a sub-department of Technical Support NCE, supporting both Service and Construction businesses across the entire NCE region. We provide technical knowledge and act as the link between R&D and local business units.
The Technical Support Operational System Team comprises a skilled group of 16 members distributed throughout the NCE Region. Becoming a part of this team, you will join them in guiding the implementation of Vestas' strategy, supporting various stakeholders with technical knowledge and ensuring customer focus and safety. The role (m/f/d) is a crucial one within the team, involving a high level of obligations and key responsibility within technical support.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support to service technicians and various stakeholders within Service and Construction
- Assist internal teams such as Service Technical Planning, Customer Service, and Construction and interact with and support all sub-teams within Technical Support NCE, ensuring technical knowledge is shared across teams
- Take responsibility for new turbine introductions
- Act as the link between Technical Support, VTO (Technology R&D) and Service. You will be instrumental in progressing VTO projects and ensuring that experiences gained are effectively utilized within the Service Business Unit
- Handle requests in ticketing systems and provide support through various communication channels
- Review technical customer questions, provide answers, and present technical topics at customer meetings
- Develop, update, and maintain guides (VGAs) for Service Technicians
Qualifications
To meet the expectations of this role, we believe that you bring the following experience:
- Previous extensive work experience from the wind industry
- Engineering education (Electrical, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering) or alternatively, equivalent electrical or mechanical work experience
- High technical knowledge of WTG control systems (e.g., Toolkit, VOB, VAX)
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written English
- Proficient computer skills preferably including SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite

Additional information
Since the team is spread in different countries, we are open to which location this position will be stationed. The primary work locations are Videbæk in Denmark, Vienna or Parndorf in Austria, and Hamburg, Husum, Rheine, Gotha or Berlin in Germany. You should expect some travel activity, approximately 20 days per year.
