For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $90,400 - $105,200 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer for our Distribution Center in Chino CA.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001, PFMEA, and Poke Yoke. A collaborative team player, they should have a results-driven mindset and hands-on approach to quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage BFO dashboards and project escalations as a BFO champion.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives like 5S, Six Sigma, and ISO.
- Analyze failures and implement corrective actions for customer complaints.
- Utilize quality programs (8D, Lean, Six Sigma) for ongoing improvements.
- Develop training to enhance quality awareness.
- Support the Quality Manager in maintaining quality management systems.
- Drive customer satisfaction through project and process implementation.
- Lead quality initiatives across the supply chain.
- Conduct annual internal ISO audits and support external audits for ISO certifications.
- Oversee work instructions and collaborative quality management.

- Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial)
- Over 5 years of experience in a quality role
- Logistics operations experience
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean)
- Process robustness experience
- Customer-oriented mindset
- Project management and leadership skills
- Strong communication, analytical, and influencing skills
- Change management experience
- Familiarity with ISO methodologies
- Knowledge of quality improvement tools and statistical techniques
