PTS Advance is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team and support the continued growth of our environmental services division. This role offers the opportunity to work on contaminated site assessment and remediation, in situ and ex situ remediation system design and operation, groundwater management, and Brownfield redevelopment projects. Additionally, the selected candidate will be involved in business development, client relations, project management, and staff mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead remedial investigation projects involving contaminated media such as soil, groundwater, surface water, soil gas, and indoor air, utilizing both traditional and high-resolution characterization techniques.
Develop feasibility studies, evaluate remedial alternatives, and prepare remediation cost estimates and remedial action plans for soil, vapor, and groundwater remediation projects.
Design and oversee the implementation of remediation projects utilizing in situ and ex situ technologies.
Perform remediation system operation, maintenance, and optimization.
Develop monitoring plans, performance criteria, and optimization strategies for remedial approaches.
Manage project tasks, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful execution.
Assist in proposal development and other business development activities.
Conduct fieldwork (up to 30%) and travel as required (up to 15%).

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Chemical Engineering with an environmental focus (required); advanced degree preferred.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience (required).
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (required).
Hands-on experience in environmental remediation system design, including in situ remediation techniques (e.g., ISCO, SVE, thermal, ISS), excavation and disposal, system installation, operation, and maintenance (required).
Experience with environmental compliance (SPCC and air permitting) (preferred).
Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and refreshers (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required); experience with AutoCAD, fate and transport modeling, and GIS is a plus.
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record (required)
