The Kibali Gold Mine Team is seeking to recruit a Solar Plant Mechanical Supervisor to joinand grow our team.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain mechanical components in the power plant station, raised correct action by doing root cause analysis,
- Perform condition-based maintenance on turbines, Gearbox, bearings, hydraulic pack and ensure that all equipment are reliable,
- Diagnose and troubleshoot of turbines governors, hydraulic power pack and gearbox systems,
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of Mechanical plant.
- Carry out safety inspections and ensure that installations comply with current company standards.
- Collaborate with other team members and report to the Power plant Supervisor.
- Write technical reports and keep drawing up to date.
- Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Knowledge and good understanding of Power plant systems, Hydropower generation,
- Knowledge of the operation principles of electro-energetic devices and power generations
- Ability to react quickly to failures and irregularities.
- Accuracy and responsibility in performing duties.
- Ability to work in stressful conditions.
- Technical education related to power engineering.
- Understanding and reading mechanical drawings and footprint.
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team.
