Hedging controller Metals
We are now looking for a hedging controller Metals to join our treasury team. The focus of this position is to analyze large numbers of data within complex models. The Treasury Department is a group of seven persons that is working individually, but we are also dependent on teamwork and good collaboration in the group. We are working closely with other departments in the company and Nexans Group, including the Metal department and Treasury departments in Paris.
Responsibilty and tasks
- One of the key contacts regarding metal risk within the organization
- Responsible for daily monitoring the metal risk
- Ensure that open positions are within limits, including hedging on the LME
- In charge of preparing the monthly metal report and analysis of the metal result
- Performs the risk mapping analyzing the pricing practices to limit the overall level of the risk for metals
Preferred candidate background
- Master Finance degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience from Finance or Treasury
- Good analytical skills
- Good Excel competence (VBA, pitvot)
- Knowledge of Python is an advantage
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system
- Ability to develop yourself and the position
- Independent, but with good collaboration skills
