Vestas Taiwan is a local Sales Business Unit (SBU) with its main office in Taipei. The SBU sells, constructs and services wind turbines onshore and offshore in Taiwan. The Taiwan organization employs several hundred employees.
Region APAC > SBU Taiwan Service > TPC2
The TPC2 warehouse is crucial in supplying parts and equipment to all the Vestas turbine service site at TPC2 offshore windfarm. The service site is crucial in enabling Vestas to be the world leader in wind energy. The Supply Chain and Logistics department has an open and friendly culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our growth and support for TPC2 service site.
You will have the opportunity to work in an innovative industry with highly motivated employees, working with the Supply Chain team in TPC2.
Responsibilities
Safety:
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures, intervening when identifying unsafe situations.
• Identify gaps in safety standards, protocols, and behavior, providing solutions to management.
• Display integrity, initiative, and a focus on safety and quality of work.
• Ensure safety standards are applied in the warehouse according to the HSE Plan.
Preparation:
• Prepare materials and tools efficiently for technician mobilization.
• Package materials as per service order requirements for field technicians.
• Analyze inventory levels and plan for efficient storage and organization of materials.
• Implement receiving and inspection procedures for timely processing of shipments.
• Develop a dispatching plan to prevent overstocking and maximize warehouse space.
• Optimize warehouse layout for storage capacity and accessibility.
• Maintain documentation and record-keeping systems for inventory management.
Operation:
• Coordinate inbound and outbound supply flow accurately and on time.
• Perform audits for warehouse equipment control and operate equipment safely.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support service appointments and work orders.
• Monitor and adjust inventory levels to meet demand and minimize stockouts.
• Receive, check, store, and issue materials and tools efficiently.
• Pick and pack materials and tools for field service teams.
• Book transport from site and evaluate returned goods.
Administration:
• Administer materials and tools for service teams as planned and scheduled.
• Provide support to planning, technical planning, and customer management teams.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile with system data.
• Identify and report non-conformities for materials and tools.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as documentation processing and information updates.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure traceability of material stocks, including yearly inventory.
• Maintain good condition of service van, tools, spare parts, and company property.
• Take responsibility for warehouse safety and security.
• Thoroughly prepare inventory, equipment, and documentation for efficient operations.
• Complete tasks with precision, following established procedures.
• Administer warehouse-related activities, including inventory management and reporting.
• Prioritize tasks, manage time adequately, and maintain focus on established priorities.
Qualifications
- Relevant education, with a focus on logistics (MBO or LBO+)
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Computer operation skills, familiarity with internet-based program navigation and main MS
- Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)
