Our client is actively seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Industrial Hygiene Technician to join their Building Sciences and Site Assessment groups. As a member of our Building Sciences & Site Assessment team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects spanning the built environment, from commercial and residential developments to infrastructure and public facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and client-focused approach.

Collaborate closely with project managers and senior leaders to deliver high-quality, timely, and value-added environmental services to clients. This includes expertise in areas such as asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, site assessments, site remediation, and related environmental disciplines.
Conduct field work, including site inspections, sample collection, and environmental assessments.
Prepare comprehensive reports and technical documents for client use, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Interface with clients at a technical level, leveraging strong communication skills to address concerns, provide updates, and offer expert advice.
Manage assigned tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Possession of Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) or Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST), or ability to sit for and pass the exam within three months of hire.
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Lead certification.
Completion of the 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training.

Compensation

Hourly Range: $35/hr - $40/hr (Depending on Experience)

However, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per California Senate Bill 1162. Base pay information is based on market location.
