The Civil Engineer shall assist and help the Construction or Project Manager. Thie Civil Engineer will assume design review of plans/specifications and inspection responsibilities when necessary. This person shall perform the following duties:
- Document Control: Managing construction project documentation such as contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Set up and maintaining project files.
- Contract Administration: Assisting with the review, tracking, and processing of submittals, change orders, and payment requests. Ensuring that all documentation aligns with project specifications and contracts.
- Cost and Schedule Tracking: Helping to manage project costs and schedules by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, progress reports, and forecasts.
- Coordination and Communication: Acting as a liaison between field personnel, contractors, and project managers to ensure that all project information is up to date and communicated clearly.
- Field Support: Supporting field personnel with technical information, project drawings, and specifications to assist in maintaining compliance with project requirements and standards.
- Reporting: Preparing daily, weekly, or monthly reports on project progress, cost tracking, and any issues encountered.
