As Senior Manager Corporate Sustainability, you will contribute to driving the development and implementation of our carbon reduction strategy and our adherence to all reporting standards and requirements. This position is unlimited and located in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- lead the development, preparation, writing, assurance process, and publication of Westwing’s Sustainability Statement and annual Sustainability Report, ensuring alignment with the CSRD, EFRAG standards, and the EU taxonomy
- support the implementation of Westwing’s sustainability strategy by aligning internal processes, resource planning, and departmental goals, including analyzing CSRD-aligned reporting to identify gaps, benchmarking against peers (including ratings and evaluations), and addressing transitional provisions and financial data requirements
- monitor and benchmark ESG regulations, trends, and best practices to provide timely and relevant information to internal stakeholders, while responding to investor and ESG requests and ratings with a focus on ISS, S&P, and MSCI
- transition from qualitative to quantitative climate scenario analysis by integrating location-specific data, enhancing financial impact assessments, and linking findings to strategic decisions for improved climate-related disclosures
YOU COME WITH
- 5+ years of professional experience, including several years in a sustainability-related function; Previous consulting experience with a top consulting firm would be an asset
- in-depth knowledge of the CSRD and the EGRAG standards, the EU Taxonomy as well as other ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks and standards is required
- excellent ability to collaborate, engage, and influence internal and external stakeholders on sustainability topics
- fluency in English and excellent written & verbal communication skills to promote and drive sustainability initiatives
- outstanding project management skills, ability to work independently and willingness to take initiatives
- excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
