Warehouse Manager
Job Summary/Overview:
PSG Warehouse Manager is responsible to oversee all aspects of our solar energy equipment warehouse. Responsible for managing inventory, organizing shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring smooth operations to support our solar installation projects.
Warehouse Manager prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports related to warehouse activities, personnel, and equipment. Provides information and makes necessary adjustments for stock and inventory control; coordinates adjustments with receiving, order processing and inventory control areas.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Exercises supervision over Warehouse Staff.
Core/Primary Job Responsibilities:
Control inventory and ensure accurate tracking of solar energy equipment and materials.
● Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments..
● Supervise daily warehouse activities , including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity.
● Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize workflow.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.
● Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to fulfill equipment and material requirements for solar projects.
● Conduct inventory audits using our ABC count process.
● Monitor warehouse expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
● Ensure timely and accurate documentation of inventory movements and transactions.
● Implement quality control measures to uphold product standards and customer satisfaction.
● Coordinate with procurement and purchasing departments to manage stock levels..
● Provide reports and updates to senior management regarding warehouse operations, inventory status, and performance metrics.
● Managing the day-to-day performance and progress.
● Help managers activities of associates in warehouse departments including, but not limited to, purchasing, receiving, stocking, retrieving, pulling orders, packing, processing and shipping of finished goods.
● Determine work procedures, review schedules and expedite workflow through the efficient usage, training/cross-training and development of regular and temporary labor.
● Responsible for making sure all orders are pulled by the team.
● Motivate, coach, counsel associates and encourage teamwork.
● Interact with subordinates, peers and upper management to achieve business goals.
● Interacts with all levels of management.
● Maintains department tools, material supply inventories and a clean, safe, secure and efficient operation.
● Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
● Handles multiple projects and meets deadlines.
● Good communication with the General Manager..
● Maintain inventory in healthy and optimal conditions that is reflected in the books.
● Promotes teamwork and collaboration across the warehouse.
● Must work in close collaboration with the Data Clerk Entry Team to assure perfect control of inventory.
Other functions as directed and/ or assigned.
Employee may be required to travel for business purposes
Requirements
Requirements, Education, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the solar energy industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Experience in team management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 1 years experience in a relevant field.

- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail

While performing the duties of this job, occasionally required to use hand to handle, touch and use tools, reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, twist, lift, reach, push, pull, grasp, balance, talk, hear, and ambulate during employment
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and an ability to adjust focus
