We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&A Senior Director / Director to join our dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in driving our mergers and acquisitions strategy, overseeing deal book ownership, conducting portfolio reviews, and leading target investigations and diligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate M&A, complemented by experience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Book Ownership: Manage and maintain the M&A deal book, ensuring all relevant information is accurately documented and accessible.
- Portfolio Reviews: Conduct comprehensive reviews of our investment portfolio, analyzing performance metrics and identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
- Target Investigation & Diligence: Lead thorough investigations of potential acquisition targets, including market analysis, financial assessment, and risk evaluation.
- Business Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify strategic business opportunities and develop strong relationships with potential partners.
- Deal Structure Support: Provide expertise in structuring deals to maximize value and minimize risk, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Negotiations Support: Assist in negotiations with potential acquisition targets, providing analytical insights and strategic recommendations to achieve favorable outcomes.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience:
- Extensive corporate M&A experience, alternatively, prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or private equity is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of leading successful M&A transactions from inception to completion. Integration Management experience a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic planning skills, including analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
