Encore seeks a highly motivated individual with the proven skills, experience, and attitude to serve as Financial Asset Manager and manage all aspects of the financial asset management, including financial reporting and performance monitoring, contract compliance, and audit/tax. The Financial Asset Manager position requires accounting expertise, outstanding financial analytical skills, strong experience with financial risk management, and a understanding of tax and audit issues and processes and the ability to be a part of a growing accounting team. A passion for clean energy, finance and accounting, and a desire to continually learn and grow is critical as well. Reporting to the Senior Director, Accounting, the successful candidate will manage the responsibilities outlined below.

Your Responsibilities
- Financial and Accounting Management
- Prepare and manage financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare and manage the monthly and yearly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee closing activities such as account reconciliations
- Maintain and update systems as need such as Sage Intacct, FloQast and others.
- Enhance and implement controls systems and accounting best practices.
- Oversee accounts receivable processes related to asset operations.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to optimize asset performance.
- Develop and manage budgets for operating assets and capital expenditures.
- Other tasks on an as needed basis.
Asset Performance Monitoring Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the solar and energy storage portfolio. Collaborate with the technical asset management team to improve financial and operational efficiency. Provide detailed financial and operational reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Contract and Compliance Management Manage contractual obligations with lenders and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial covenants. Oversee audits and tax filings related to the asset portfolio.
Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with project finance, accounting, and technical asset management teams to align objectives. Support due diligence efforts for acquisitions, sales, or refinancing initiatives.
