This position is located in the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC), Environmental and Fisheries Sciences (EFS Division), Resource Enhancement, with one vacancy in Manchester, WA. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Research Biologist (Aquaculture), you will perform the following duties: Design and lead experimental research studies in applied Aquatic Animal Health and Physiology to support environmentally and economically sustainable aquaculture development. Design and conduct in vivo experimental trials. Conduct sampling of research animals in controlled laboratory experiments and field-scale trials. Publish research papers in high impact peer-reviewed scientific journals and prepare reports for technical and general audiences on a variety of research topics. Assist with leading international and interagency research partnerships.
