JOB SUMMARY: This position is a Wildlife Biologist, GS- 0486-9 working in Lafayette, Louisiana for the R2-Division of Migratory Birds. The full performance level of this position is GS-11. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Wildlife Biologist your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Articulates technical expertise and provides guidance on various aspects of natural resources and wildlife management to diverse audiences consisting of associated agencies, other officials, and interested individuals or groups. Deliver effective oral communications of complex natural resources and/or water issues, using maps, photos, tables, and reports. Applies knowledge of resource planning, budgeting, and adaptive management to perform statistical analysis of biological surveys and investigations for structured decision making and providing sound recommendations.
