JOB SUMMARY: This position is in Region 8, Water Division, Clean Water Branch, Watershed Section. EPA offers work-from-home and work schedule flexibilities as described in the Benefits section. MAJOR DUTIES: You will: Implement federal water programs under the Clean Water Act (CWA). Utilize analytical methods and techniques to analyze a wide range of scientific, engineering, legal, environmental protection, and/or environmental management issues. Manage contracts as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) and watershed implementation project work throughout the Region. Serve as regional technical contact for assigned state's Nonpoint Source Program (NPS). You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
