JOB SUMMARY: This position is a Human Resource Specialist, GS- 0201-13 working for R10-HQ FWS Policy and Regulations. Please Note: If selected, you may be placed at a regional office, field office, current duty station, or other DOI-owned or leased worksite at the discretion of management. This position may also be eligible for remote work. Additional questions regarding placement should be reserved for the interview process. MAJOR DUTIES: As a Human Resource Specialist your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Establishes metrics to measure bureau HR program accomplishments. Designs, develops, implements and assesses complex customer focused programs, policies, and initiatives in various strategic areas of HR. Conducts special projects and studies encompassing the entire bureau to assess the effectiveness of and provide recommendations to improve the workforce planning processes.
