Position Overview:
The Learning and development manager will be responsible for designing, organizing, and delivering technical training programs to ensure the workforce remains skilled, compliant, and aligned with company goals. This role involves close collaboration with subject matter experts, team leads, and external vendors to identify training needs, develop content, and evaluate training effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:- Training Needs Analysis:
- Collaborating with department heads and team leads to identifying technical skill gaps and training requirements.
- Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups to assess learning needs.
- Program Development:
- Design and develop technical training modules, workshops, and e-learning content.
- Incorporate modern instructional design methods and technologies to enhance engagement.
- Ensure all training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards.
- Training Delivery:
- Conduct and facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions.
- Coordinate with external trainers or consultants for specialized technical topics.
- Ensure training schedules and logistics are effectively managed.
- Evaluation and Reporting:
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
- Prepare detailed reports on training outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Compliance and Certification:
- Ensure all training programs comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Manage records of employee certifications and renewals for compliance purposes.
- Technology Integration:
- Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other tools to manage, track, and report training activities.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in technical training tools and methods.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for training-related inquiries and coordination.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
- Technical site on boarding:
- Managing the training plan, site/lab visit for the teams, creating a detail training plan in aligning with hiring manager and construction team at site.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Electrical or Power system engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical training and managing the training for the organization.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts relevant to the BESS, (Battery Energy storage system).
- Proficiency in using LMS platforms and creating multimedia learning materials.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
