For our Sales Department based in Mexico City, we are looking for a highly motivated Proposals Lead. Join an agile and highly engaged Sales team that favors creativity, promotes drive and enthusiasm, and fosters customer relationship building.
This position is responsible for and leads customer sales of Spare Parts, both directly to customers, and indirectly with After Market Category Managers and After Market Business Leaders as well as proposal assistance for Technical Services, Advanced Maintenance and Upgrades. The role requires critical thinking skills, strong financial foundation, excellent computer skills in many versatile programs, and peer leadership abilities. This position also supports, coordinates, and facilitates the sales administrative process. The role requires a self-sufficient candidate with strong organizational skills, who will be dedicated to provide a best in class customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Product familiarity –Understand the internal costs and the external value proposition of our products, including daily alignment with product developers and the Americas Operations organization to ensure that the latest processes are accounted for in the cost assessments
- Relationship management – Gather, maintain, and respond to feedback and dialogue with internal and external customers regarding current and future product portfolios and customer needs
- Proposal management – Working with a broad internal stakeholder network, compile cost and value information and use Siemens tools and internal approval processes to present and deliver value-based quotes to customers, responding to customer requests for clarification and status.
Provide quotes requested by customers, including bidding on RFQs. Provide part availability and estimated delivery dates for received purchase orders and upon request. Communicate any changes in estimated delivery to customers. Facilitate part identification between customers and engineering team. Work closely with Purchasing and Procurement to be efficient as a team to provide the highest quality service and products to the customer Convert Business Leader and Category Manager proposals into SAP Quotes for Parts Sales Manage the proposal process from RFQ to handover Prepare and monitor Close Plan & Execute file incorporating all proposal, PO and sales data; Provide financial summaries to Management Control for month close. Prepare Weekly reports. Maintain and provide reports from the CRM system, Salesforce and others as needed Receive, process, record, and track customer purchase orders for Services Sales Complete vendor and customer setup forms
What you need to make a difference

- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or wind industry experience preferred
- 3-8 years of direct sales /proposals experience
- Experience in sales, proposals, and/or project management is preferred
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Team-player mind set.
- Strong quality & organization orientation.
- Demonstrates initiative and result oriented.
- SAP and Salesforce experience preferred
