Intelcom | Dragonfly has set itself the ambitious goal of being net zero carbon by 2040. To establish its strategy and monitor the progress of its decarbonization initiatives, the organization has been conducting an annual greenhouse gas inventory with the support of an external partner since 2022.
The company would like to internalize certain areas of expertise in order to be more agile and improve data management and quality.
The decarbonization project manager will be responsible for identifying, planning and rigorously managing projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions within the organization according to the identified priorities (e.g., decarbonized long-distance corridor pilot project, integration of electrification into road planning, energy efficiency, waste management, etc.). responsible sourcing, etc.). A true Swiss Army knife of decarbonization efforts, this person will have to mobilize and collaborate with many teams and departments of the company to ensure the success of these projects.
This person will need to have a strategic understanding of the different business lines and functions of the company to facilitate the success of their projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and supervise the company's decarbonization projects, including budget and schedule management, in line with the 2040 decarbonization roadmap
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of the 2040 decarbonization roadmap
- Identify and evaluate GHG reduction opportunities in the company's operations and measure the reductions generated, in collaboration with the specialists in the team.
- Rigorously monitor the progress of its projects and provide regular reports to stakeholders
- Develop the tools and methods necessary for the integration of sustainable development into the organization's other projects
- Collaborate with internal teams, to integrate decarbonization initiatives into their processes.
- Track and analyze the performance of decarbonization projects, using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure project compliance with environmental regulations and the company's decarbonization goals.
- Facilitate strategic meetings and workshops as part of its decarbonization projects and raise awareness of corporate objectives.
Qualifications :
- University degree in management, sustainable development, engineering or a related field.
- Min 3 years of experience in project management.
- Experience in the field of sustainable development and knowledge of GHG reduction strategies and opportunities
- Experience in logistics, transport or mobility
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency in standard project management tools and practices.
- Project Management Certification or PMP (an asset)
- Bilingual French/English
- Availability to travel for meetings with collaborators, partners, and other engagements (10% of the time or more)
