Enviromental Engineer - MultimediaTo provide multimedia support for a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. Ensure that all control, monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements related to the area of responsibility are satisfied. Maintains internal relationships with refinery personnel and establishes external relationships with regulatory representatives.
Principle Responsibilities:
Specific job duties include providing facility environmental support under the facility RCRA, NJDEP, and SPCC/DPCC requirements.
The successful candidate will have the ability to oversee multiple contractors and develop and maintain good working relationships within the refinery organization, agency regulators, and contract providers.
Timely preparation and submission of required reports, with coordinated input from relevant areas of expertise is necessary.
Manage and track budgets and expenditures.
This position includes a rotational on-call responsibilities
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or Science is required; a B.S. in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
Five years of relevant environmental, refining, petrochemical or chemical industry experience is preferred.
Previous US DOT HAZMAT Shipping and RCRA Training is preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret process data, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations is required.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures is required.
Proficiency with basic computerized office systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Proficiency in SAP, Essential Suite, and Enablon is helpful.
The position involves rotational on-call responsibilities.
