DescriptionClean Harbors is looking for an InSite Program Manager to join their safety conscious team! This position will be supporting the execution of various client environmental management programs. The Hazardous Waste Program Manager serves as the client’s main contact and primary interface with Clean Harbors daily. They are responsible for and manage the client’s hazardous waste program at the client location in Charleston, SC.

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all Clean Harbors' activities and programs on customer’s site;
- Manage and coordinate the efforts of the all Clean Harbors onsite employees;
- Enlist Clean Harbors' corporate resources as needed to ensure 100% customer satisfaction;
- Assist with managing customer’s air, water and hazardous waste programs;
- Manage and track facility wide “cradle to grave” waste generation, storage, and disposal;
- Responsible for proper packaging of waste to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
- Schedule transportation and disposal for outgoing wastes as needed;
- Provide waste tracking reports as needed;
- Address any compliance concerns from customer
- Supervise 1 employees onsite
- Fliter pick up request
- Schedule pick-ups with local branch
- Assist with hiring and training new employees
- Assist with finding staffing for Saturday and Sunday events
- Complete monthly inspections and reports for the county
- Assist with running Montgomery County’s SQG program (once a week event for small businesses to deliver waste)
- Ensure facility is opened on time at 7:00am
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for pickups, maintenance
Qualifications- Leadership and management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Computer skills.
- Familiarity with RCRA, DOT and lab pack regulations
- $60-72K to begin
- Coursework in Biology or Science preferred
