PositionSummary:
The Service Technician will be an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioningandperformingpreventativeandcorrectivemaintenanceonCSIEnergyStorage’sSol bankStoragePowerBlock(SPB).Thisrolealsoinvolvesfulfilling obligationsunderLongTermService Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required.

- RingMainUnits(RMU’s)/Switchgear
- Transformers
- SCADAandnetworkingdevices
- Provideonsitediagnostic,troubleshooting,andhands-onsupporttomaintainequipmentand meet availability and capacity guarantees
- Overseeandsupervisesub-contractorsonsitewhen
- Assistindevelopingstandardoperatingproceduresandprocesses
- Completeworkorderdocumentationinatimelymanner
- Ensureaccuracyofsparepartsinventory
- PerformproperLockout/Tagout(LOTO)andswitchingproceduresasneeded
- Supportclienttrainingduringcommissioning
- Adheretoallhealthandsafetyrulesandpolicies
- Completeotherdutiesandprojectsasassigned
QualificationsandExperience:
- QualifiedElectricalTechnician
- Minimum5yearsofrelevantworkexperienceinaserviceenvironment,preferablyinrenewable energy
- OSHA30Certified(OSHA10certificationisacceptedifOSHA30isobtainedsoonafter hire)
- Previoustrainingandknowledgeofinverters
- SCADAexperienceisbeneficial
- Knowledgeofgeneralandnationalcodes,mediumvoltagepowersystems,andEnergyStorage system applications is an asset
- Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills
- DemonstratedproficiencywithMSOfficeApplications(Word,Excel)
- PreviousexperiencewithaCMMSsoftwareprogramispreferred
- Validdriver’slicensewithacleandrivingrecord
- FirstAidTrained
- Abilitytotraveltoregionallocationsasneeded(over50%ofthe time)
- Abilitytoworksuccessfullybothindependentlyandwithinateam
