We are seeking a NPI and Tech Transfer Manufacturing HSE-NAC Specialist to join our team at our new factory located at Brdowska 5, Szczecin, Poland. This role is both global and local in scope, requiring collaboration with international teams while also ensuring the effective implementation of processes and standards at the local level. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable and detail-oriented professional with a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and focus on upholding the highest health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. HSE Manufacturing team are s responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental standards across all manufacturing facilities worldwide. This role ensures that all new products and technology transfers are implemented with safe work procedures, risk assessments, and compliance with ISO certifications. The team guides factory HSE teams, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring all manufacturing activities meet global safety standards. Plays a significant role in aligning factory-level HSE practices with global standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the HSE Technical Transfer between Factories and ensure all Technology transfer across all factories occurs in a consistent and efficient manner
- Support with all HSE matters as part of the Vestas Way to Market for all new factories and platforms
- Establish critical mechanisms to ensure the NPI considers safety in its evaluation and establish NPI assurance and sign off protocols for HSE
- Ensure all Coordination between R&D and Manufacturing with respect to the establishment and transfer of all risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring all factories work processes are aligned to tackling the HSE risk day to day
- Ensure all NPI processes and R&D initial design processes are closely aligned and there is a smooth handover of HSE risks and controls in this regard
- Assurance to customers, shareholders and internal stakeholders that the external factories comply with Vestas minimum Safety and Environmental standards
- Support with specific safety committees and Governance structures as may be required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and a Master's degree is preferred. Hold relevant Polish HSE education is required
- Approximately 7-10 years of experience in HSE roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience in new product introduction, technology transfer, and ensuring compliance with ISO certifications would be beneficial
- Professional English skills, both verbally and in writing

- High level of quality and compliance with process and policy, ensuring thorough and accurate work
- Detail-oriented and experienced in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Solution-oriented approach combined with a holistic perspective to address complex effectively
- Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team but also individually to meet deadlines
- Comprehensive stakeholder management skills to build and maintain productive relationships
