Job description:
We are seeking an IT savvy student assistant to help us document our IT architecture from the top-level goals to the individual application components.
You will join a team of seven dedicated IT architects in an IT organization that develops and manages highly specialized software to support the most optimal use of the electric grid in the Nordic countries.
You will help our Enterprise-, System-, and Business architects create architecture models according to our guidelines. In additions to this we need your help to consolidate relevant technical metadata to improve our management reporting.

Responsibilities:
You will assist the Enterprise Architect with capturing, reviewing, and reporting on the status and future of our IT architecture. The exact tasks will to some degree depend on your skills.
Your tasks will include:
- Convert, import, and assure the quality of existing documentation after import
- Aid business architect, project managers, and analysts with modelling
- Help stakeholders find relevant information in the enterprise architecture tool
- Help design reports and dashboards
- Assist in implementing governance tools
Requirements:
- Completed -30 ECTS point in IT architecture related courses at university level. E.g., Enterprise systems, process management, IT strategy, or Enterprise Architecture
- Basic query tools SQL, PowerBI, Kibana, Open Search, or similar
- Organised and methodical approach to problem solving
- Good collaborations skills
- Fluent in English
It is an advantage if you possess one of the following skills from studies or former employment (none of these are requirements).
- Experience with an enterprise architecture framework such as TOGAF, Zachmann, DoDAF, or FEAF
- Experience with the Archimate 3.x modelling notation
- Experience with the Business Process Modelling Notation
- Experience with any one Enterprise Architecture modelling tool
- Experience with SharePoint, DevOps, Jira, and/or GitHub
We will provide training in all the tools and methodologies that we use, regardless of previous experiences.
We imagine that you have at least 1½ - 2 years until you finish your master's program. We also encourage bachelor students to apply.
You will get hands on experience with enterprise architecture in an organization where we do in-house development of software and where architecture at every level is a topmost priority that is used as an active management tool.
You will learn and work with a cutting-edge enterprise architecture tool.
The position will require between 10-15 hours per week depending on your workload and we are flexible during exam periods.
