MAJOR DUTIES: As a Supervisory Physical Scientist, you will perform the following duties: Provide leadership, oversight, and management direction for formulation, interpretation, and administration of the policies regarding contracts, grants and cooperative agreements. Serve as supervisor planning and distributing work to be accomplished by subordinates. Provide technical oversight and authoritative advice on data set development and production, including implementation of capabilities at the forefront of IT environments. Oversee project teams gathering and analyzing requirements. Make recommendations to update and develop policies, improve efficiency, and shape the products and services. Serve as a program advisor to the organization on relevant strategic goals, mission functions, and workforce. Assist in determining future direction and management of program operations.
