EHSS 5S Team Member (Janitorial)

Shift: Mid-Shift (12:30pm – 9:15pm)

Location: San Antonio, TX

TTTX has one (1) opening for EHSS 5S Team Member position.

Toyotetsu Texas identifies 5s as Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize and Sustain, the work site. Although Toyotetsu Texas requires the entire team to take responsibility of 5s this position carries out all cleaning responsibilities for assigned areas of the manufacturing site. This position reports to the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Department.

This position is assigned to the mid-shift and typically works a Monday through Friday shift that starts at 12:30pm and ends at 9:15pm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Primary duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain 5S (janitorial duties) processes as outlined by EHSS Manager of assigned areas of the manufacturing site.
Follow through safety and environmental policies and procedures to assure legal compliance for EPA, OSHA.
Maintain established standards of stocking of facility with paper towels napkins soap and hygiene products.
Contribute to company’s ISO 14001 program.
Must be flexible and able to work in all areas and in your department regardless of duties listed above to accomplish TTTX Goals & Objectives.

Qualifications

Experience

Proficient in the use of computers.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Application (word, excel, PowerPoint)
Flexibility is vital in the role

Technical Competencies

Knowledgeable about machines and equipment standard in janitorial processes.
Experienced and capable of the operation of general janitorial machines including but not limited to floor scrubbers, vacuums and sprayers.
Safety practices and working knowledge of use of chemicals, handling and storage.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Interpersonal skills (teamwork, customer oriented)
Communication (verbal and written communication, listening skills)
Judgement and thinking (strategic thinking, original thinking, judgement and decision making, problem solving)

Environment

An open office environment may be exposed to mild to moderate noise levels as well as both hot and cold condition.

Qualifications:

Two years related experience, or a high school diploma plus equivalent experience.
