Tele2 is seeking a Sustainability Associate. In this role, you will play a key role in our sustainability efforts, where your contributions will lead to clear results. About the job

We have the vision to lead in sustainability and have recently been named the most sustainable company in Sweden by Time Magazine. This challenges us every day and holds us accountable. In the role as Sustainability Associate you will be able to take initiative in something that is crucial to our success. You will work closely with Erik who is Head of Sustainability in all matters. One day will be operative and the other you will stand in front of the company’s management team.

In this role, you are responsible for a wide variety of assignments that covers the areas of strategy, communication, reporting and ESG ratings. You are managing various implementation projects that will help Tele2 achieve its ambition to lead in sustainability.

Responsibilities include:

Sustainability reporting: data collection, analysis and project management.

ESG ratings: data collection, analysis and driving projects to improve Tele2’s results.

Sustainability strategy analysis and review: ensuring that Tele2’s sustainability strategy is up to date and aligned with stakeholder interests.

Sustainability strategy project management: running projects to achieve Tele2’s sustainability strategy goals and activities

Internal communication: writing articles about news and updating sustainability pages for our intranet

External communication: supporting in writing press releases and creating social media content

Environmental Management System: implementation, project management and continuous improvements

Who are you?

To thrive and succeed in this role we believe that you:

have worked 1,5 - 3 years within management, sustainability, finance or PR consulting or in a similar corporate role, but we are gladly challenged with other profiles

probably have a degree within business, accounting, engineering, communications or similar. A focus or specialization on sustainability is advantageous

have some experience in project management with the potential of becoming a great project manager

can do calculations in Excel and to make professional steering group material in Powerpoint

are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken

Having experience from internal/external communication, sustainability reporting and/or working with ESG ratings is meriting but not a must.
