Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for successfully executing Sunbelt Power & HVAC North American Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sales strategy.

Position Responsibilities:

Be a leader within our safety culture
Manage a team of Market Managers (7-11) who support our salespeople in each geographic region, to drive the successful introduction and growth of industry leading services and solutions related to our customers energy management needs, through battery technologies
Connect their activities deliberately and closely with each of our lines of business at all levels (PC, District, Region), with particular focus to Strategic Customers in multiple market segments, including commercial, construction, entertainment, response, industrial and governmental
Manage the profitable implementation of key projects, with direct report(s) to supply customers with innovative services, such as Distributive Energy and Film & TV
Provide updated quote pipelines and support sales performance to put North America’s largest BESS rental fleet on rent
Create and support individual metro-market go-to-market strategies (GTMS)
Hire, train, mentor, coach and lead the team to develop and control sales and service programs
Determine price schedules and discount rates
Target impact customers in each market segment for specific BESS rentals & services, this will additionally include becoming a stakeholder, to collaborate with our Sunbelt business leaders

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience plus 10+ years of proven sales experience, including at least 5 years of successful technical sales team leadership, directly within Industrial and Commercial market segments
Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals
Demonstrated highly technical level knowledge of power, sustainable energy and HVAC applications
Skilled in impactful virtual meetings and sales presentations
Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving history
Valid Passport for travel into Canada
Hold all appropriate Safety, Health and Environmental cards / approvals as required by Sunbelt and industrial customers; have (at minimum) OSHA-10 card
Engineering degree and/or equivalent generator, and HVAC systems experience preferred
Up to 75% travel

Base Pay Range: $87,885.85 - 148,729.90

Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.
