The Equipment & Operations Specialist is responsible for comprehensive management of the maintenance, repair and operation of heavy machinery and equipment. This role includes coordinating deliveries, conducting audits and inventories, managing toll health, and ensuring that all equipment is held to the highest standards.

Maintain a clean and organized working space at all times.

Key Responsibilities / Principales Responsabilidades

Maintenance and Repair / Mantenimiento y Reparación:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy and small equipment, as well as vehicles.
- Realizar mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo en equipos pesados y pequeños, así como vehículos.
Carry out detailed repairs on machinery, vehicles and tools to ensure their correct operation.
- Realizar reparaciones detalladas de maquinaria, vehículos y herramientas para asegurar su correcto funcionamiento
Inspect and diagnose equipment failures, implementing the necessary repairs.
- Inspeccionar y diagnosticar las fallas de los equipos, implementando las reparaciones necesarias.
Coordinate the location and replacement of parts to ensure the continuous operation of the equipment.

Operate Machinery as needed for ongoing projects.

Planning and Organization / Planificación y Organización:

Plan, coordinate, deliver and return equipment and tools.

Monitor the condition of equipment and tools in transit to ensure they arrive on time and in proper condition.

Perform regular audits and maintain inventory control both in the warehouse and at project sites.

Collect, label, and manage damaged tools.
- Recoger, etiquetar y administrar las herramientas dañadas.
Monitor the inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring that all are in good condition and ready to use.

Control and label tools, ensuring that they are kept in optimal condition and that the necessary maintenance is conducted.

Documentation and Systems / Documentación y Sistemas:

Upload and keep up to date the operation manuals of heavy and light equipment in the system.

Use and manage the ‘Share My Tool’ system for the control and monitoring of tools and equipment.
- Utilizar y gestionar el sistema 'Share My Tool' para el control y la supervisión de herramientas y equipos.
Manage all systems associated with the company to ensure an efficient workflow and comply with internal standards.

Search for suppliers and manufacturers of tools, equipment and machinery that meet our company needs.

Maintain a detailed record of manufacturers and suppliers of equipment, tools, machinery and vehicles.

Support and Coordination / Apoyo y Coordinación:

Provide support in painting, cleaning and other related activities as needed.

Attend weekly meetings to evaluate the performance and operation of the division.

Deliveries and Loading / Entregas y Carga:

Deliver equipment and tools when needed for projects.

Ensure proper loading and unloading of equipment and tools, complying with safety and efficiency procedures.

Coordinate deliveries.

Deliver the concrete pump if there are no drivers available (if/when applicable).

Perform delivery inspections as well as arrival and departure inspections of the concrete pump.
