Duties & Responsibilities

Core functions
•   Promote economic growth and development in the local community
•   Work with existing businesses to expand and enhance their operations
•   Seek out and secure grants and financing opportunities to support economic development
•   Provide research and analysis on economic trends and opportunities in the region
•   Serve as a liaison between government agencies and local businesses
•   Develop marketing and branding strategies to attract investors and talent to the community
•   Create and implement workforce development initiatives to support job growth
•   Work to improve infrastructure and transportation systems to support economic growth
•   Regularly measure and evaluate the success of economic development efforts.
•   Execute ED commitments for each project.

Economic Development Planning
• Support local content and local supplier development.
• Drive and set up economic development obligations for subcontractors.

ED Reporting & Achievements
•   Be accountable for economic development report submission to clients and other interested parties
•   Audit economic development reporting provided by the subcontractors.
•   Monitor and track economic development achievements for all the projects under Oasis.
•   Advise and guide subcontractors of the set economic development initiatives and achievements

Desired Experience & Qualification

5 years plus relevant experience in economic development programs, grant applications, and economic impact analyses., finance and policy analysis.
•Experience in community organization and project management
•Experience in community organization, finance, and marketing is also helpful.
