The Application Lead is responsible for providing application solution for new product or customer requirement in BPAC . The individual is an industry leader in product application in Application center.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops and applies problem solving capabilities through the application of proven knowledge and appropriate use of scientific and experimental methods
Oversees and serves as a consultant on technical application at the customer line and Secure Launch activities
Coaches and mentors for problem solving using proven methods and experience
Oversees technical projects and provides direction and best practices for making work impactful
Drives the assembly of results of project activities in a meaningful fashion, and will collaborate with experienced team members to drive forward planning or additional investigation activities
Able to independently visit customer facilities, gather data, communicate process conditions and concerns to remote team for investigation/project planning and presents findings to the customer, as requested
Maintains a strong connection with the technical lab and line validation activities, working up and down the organization

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Engineering is preferred
10+ years’ experience in application experience involving all layers of automotive coatings is expected
Must be willing to travel and travel with extended stays, estimated travel 25%
Individual is recognized as a leader in the field and his/her knowledge base is regularly requested
