PTC’s Sustainability Team is looking for a passionate and talented Sustainability Business Analyst Intern to join us in helping our customers realize their environmental potential. As a sustainability business intern, you will learn to utilize an AI-powered ESG intelligence platform to understand the industrial sustainability landscape and benchmark PTC customer and market needs.

The Sustainability team is committed to helping customers throughout their sustainable journey and improving our products to fit their needs. The candidate for this role will be responsible for identifying competitive trends, sustainability related market and customer insights, and providing analysis on threats and opportunities evolving in the sustainability landscape. We are looking to hire a Sustainability Business Analyst Intern with strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills to support sales processes and enhance our understanding of sustainability needs from our customers through AI-powered research analysis.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and sustainability teams to identify customers and research focus areas
Understand the latest trends in customer market demands
Oversees and gathers, validates, and analyzes information and perspectives from both internal and external sources
Creates their own perspectives and communicates synthesized analysis with clear, fact-based, messages
Present work/findings to stakeholders for distribution and be able to identify and defend customer and market needs

Requirements:

Working towards a bachelor’s degree or higher of business degree
An understanding of and/or passion for Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies and/or a related field
Demonstrating business acumen with strong research analysis skills and complex problem solving
Ability to adapt to and learn new technologies quickly and efficiently
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and influence skills
