We are looking for Asset Technicians to join our client in the renewable enery space based in the center of Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha). This is a great opportunity for growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks as directed by Asset Managers
Conduct installation inspections and report on findings
Maintain accurate records of time spent on site and update fault logs
Provide detailed inspection and maintenance reports as required
Maintain asset registers and fault logs
Produce site inspection reports
Complete maintenance tasks within a reasonable time frame, focusing on addressing the root cause of faults
Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed thoroughly, with accurate information provided to Asset Managers for further action if necessary
Ensure reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner

Desired Experience & Qualification

Degree or Diploma: Relevant qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy), or a related technical field
Previous experience as an Asset Technician
Experience in the renewable energy/solar industry is Essential
