Helpsy’s Mission: We are the largest textile collection company in the Northeast US. Unlike most used clothing businesses we have an environmental mission: to keep clothes out of the trash. In just the last year we collected over 30 million pounds of clothes. The impact of the clothes we collected is the following:

320 million pounds of CO2 emissions
20 billion gallons of water
The electricity usage of 10,000 American homes

In addition to our textile operations, we have a rapidly growing wholesale business. We are proud to be a Public Benefit Corporation and a Certified B Corp with an environmental mission. We believe that the tragedy of clothing filling our landfills and incinerators needs to stop.

To fight this battle, we work with partners large and small to place clothing collection containers, schedule collection drives, engage with cities and towns, manage unwanted inventories, and spread the word that CLOTHES AREN’T TRASH.

Driver Role and Responsibilities:

Experience safely operating non-CDL box trucks up to 26 feet long with air brakes
Availability to work both Saturday and/or Sunday
Load and unload trucks in outdoor environments year-round
Able to work independently without direct supervision

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

You must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and DOT Medical Card
Able to use a mobile phone to log all activities on company applications
Must have your own Smart Phone
You must be able to lift and carry large bulky items up to 50 lbs
You must be able to push and pull a rolling cart up to 450 lbs
You must be able to work in inclement weather such as heavy rain or snow

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
