Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EHS Intern to support our Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in workplace safety, compliance, and sustainability programs. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating a safe work environment, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to process improvements. Job Duties Compliance & Risk Assessment: Assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and hazard assessments. Support the implementation of EHS policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Participate in risk assessments and help develop mitigation plans. Environmental & Sustainability Initiatives: Help track environmental metrics such as waste reduction, energy use, and sustainability programs. Support waste management, recycling, and other environmental compliance efforts. Assist in reporting environmental data and maintaining regulatory records. Training & Employee Engagement: Assist in developing and delivering EHS training materials for employees. Support safety awareness programs and promote a culture of workplace safety. Help coordinate safety meetings and emergency preparedness drills. Incident Reporting & Investigation: Assist in documenting and analyzing safety incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions. Support root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to prevent future incidents. Experience and Education Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory guidelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits of the Internship Gain hands-on experience in EHS programs within a professional setting.
