Sustainability Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Sustainability Intern will gain practical application of sustainable practices in a real manufacturing environment and will assist with a variety of duties in the Sustainability department. This includes (but is not limited to) water consumption reduction, hazardous waste management, energy efficiency, data collection and presentation.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the Environmental and Sustainability Analyst and cross functional teams to improve sustainability culture in the workplace
Meet/exceed regulatory and corporate policy requirements
Complete compliance-based projects
Participate and lead Sustainability focused activities
Create presentations, compile data, perform regular audits

Qualifications:

Pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related degree area
Intermediate in Microsoft Office and Outlook Experience
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
