About Us

Kenyon College is a small liberal arts school located approximately 45 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio. With an enrollment of some 1,600 students, the school offers bachelor's degrees in more than 30 majors in fields such as fine arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Notable alumni include actor Paul Newman and poet Robert Lowell. The college also produces renowned literary journal The Kenyon Review. The oldest private institution of higher education in Ohio, Kenyon College was founded in 1824 by Philander Chase, an Episcopal bishop.
