Recycle Lebanon launched in 2015 with the mission to provide holistic programs that catalyze systemic change in a circular economy. Our four integrated programmes tackle interconnected environmental and social challenges in Lebanon: 1) Dive Into Action is our flagship programme to raise awareness and increase access to circular alternatives. Our advocacy programme pioneered zero waste clean-ups with reusable material to sort, recycle and redesign out waste. We also help transition establishments across the country to use local plastic-free alternatives, reduce food waste, and offer sustainable material rentals. 2) EcoSouk (www.ecosouk.net) is the first zero-waste shop in the middle-east, we are tackling conscious consumption and production by providing access to local, traditional, refillable, unpackaged, toxic-free, and #balaplastic products from Lebanese, Palestinian, and Syrian makers. 3) Regenerate Hub (www.regeneratehub.org) : A circular economy platform to strengthen nature-based solutions. This online educational tool centralises and visualises data and actions through cross sector mapping, and provides a means to untangle interconnected challenges towards holistic system change. And 4) TerraPods : An eco-design makerspace, art residency and agroecology farm. The land offers creators with access to rural safe space in communion with nature. Here we are growing a 5,000m2 biodiverse food forest, medicine & dye garden, alongside an art residency, maker space and community kitchen.
