Introduction

We are seeking a high-performing Solar Sales Representative to join a growing international solar business. This is a remote, full-time position based in South Africa, servicing UK clients during UK working hours. The ideal candidate is a confident closer with strong communication skills and a proven track record in solar sales.

You will work primarily from hot leads, focusing on consultative selling, follow-ups, and closing deals.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Key Responsibilities

Engage with qualified hot leads and convert them into successful sales
Conduct remote sales consultations with UK-based clients
Understand client energy needs and propose suitable solar solutions
Confidently explain and sell:
- Solar panels
- Inverters
- Battery storage systems
- Full solar system components
Follow up consistently on leads to maximise conversion rates
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
Provide professional after-sales handover to internal teams

Package & Remuneration

Minimum Requirements

3–5 years’ proven experience in solar sales
Strong understanding of solar systems, including batteries, inverters, and panels
Excellent verbal communication skills (clear, confident, and persuasive)
Proven ability to close deals and work towards sales targets
Experience working with inbound / hot leads
Willingness and ability to work UK hours
Comfortable working fully remotely
Valid references and a strong sales track record
