We are recruiting for a full-time Boiler Technician position at INDECK Power Equipment. The Boiler Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing Industrial Mechanical Boilers involving physical handling of products, machinery supplies, and equipment. Acts as Boiler Tech in the warehouse. Assists Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager in day-to-day supervision of Boiler Techs, special projects leader, and liaison between warehouse employees and Management.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have a good working knowledge of steam and hot water boilers, burners (gas, oil & combination), associated controls & electrical circuits, combustion, and associated piping systems.
Applicant must have a background in working on industrial boiler/burner systems.
Computer knowledge is preferred, and experience in linkage less control is highly desirable.
Must be proficient with instrumentation and controls.
Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company safety requirements.
Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Strong ability to problem-solve.
Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; two more years of related experience and/or training
