The Position : We are seeking a talented Health and Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of all health and safety related programs and initiatives for your assigned facilities. You will also provide expertise and support to ensure compliance with relevant legislated requirements and internal standards. What You’ll Be Doing : Support the implementation and maintenance of our health and safety programs and communications Act as a health and safety advisor to employees, supervisors and projects Conduct HSE risk assessments and support job hazard analysis for project and department risk controls Coordinate incident reporting and investigation processes, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions Conduct safety inspections and audits to verify compliance, escalating issues as required Maintain current knowledge of local HSE legislation and other applicable standards What We’re Looking For : An educational background in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline At least 5 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience with conducting hazard assessments and incident investigations Advanced knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations and related legislation Experience in collaborating with stakeholders in HR, Operations and Project Management What We Offer : Reimbursement for tuition and professional dues An on-site fitness facility 3 weeks of vacation and 5 paid personal days (to start) RRSP matching program Free snack program Why Join Us : Here at Eclipse Automation, creation and innovation are at our core, and our culture reflects that.
