Who We’re Looking For

CREtelligent is seeking an Environmental Scientist, Engineer, or Geologist (Environmental Professional) with emphasis to expand our commercial environmental investigation, and project management team. This position is a front-line client-focused role who will work closely with a Senior Environmental Professional to conduct environmental assessments, subsurface investigations, and other related tasks to prepare a variety of due diligence services to the commercial lending and real estate markets. We offer a unique and comprehensive suite of environmental risk assessment products and services to clientele on a nationwide basis.

Our approach to environmental due diligence incorporates a blend of advanced data and analytics coupled with environmental review best practices. The impact of our efforts empowers customers to make more informed, proactive decisions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Data Acquisition:
- Responsible for determining necessary data points to meet client need.
- Determines data assets necessary to fulfill client request by engaging with 3^rd party data provides (i.e. historical, regulatory, county, maps, etc. through local, state and federal agencies)
- Assess data to determine if additional due diligence is necessary
Environmental Assessment: Leads with environmental expertise
- Assess disparate data components to create client end products
- Render final assessment and provides opinion as an Environmental Professional
Site Inspections: Conducts on site field inspections to include imagery, property conditions and on-site sampling including subsurface investigations
Product Development Insight: Provides insight from both internal and external clients for product enhancements and new product development

Qualifications

BA or BS degree in Geology or have completed 30 semester units in courses that are relevant to Geology.

3-5 years’ experience in CRE Due Diligence (Phase I & II ESAs, TSAs, desktop reports including RSRAs/GRRs)

California Professional Geologist (PG) - preferred - Ability to obtain California PG (time and financial support to complete will be provided).

Familiarity with FannieMae, Freddie Mac and HUD compliant ESAs preferred but not required.

Asbestos, lead paint, radon licenses and training a plus

Previous experience preparing plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, storm water, and wastewater programs.

Experience with interpreting and processing field/analytical data.

Experienced in technical report writing.

Proficient in MS Office product lines.

Desire to work with a growing professional team.
