We are currently seeking a Renewable Energy Attorney to work with the world’s largest renewable energy companies.

Responsibilities:

Partner closely with our internal corporate team to provide strategic legal guidance on renewable energy matters, including wind and solar power projects.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, such as power purchase agreements, supply agreements, and joint venture contracts related to renewable energy.
Provide comprehensive legal support for the acquisition and development of solar, wind, and energy storage projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Advise on risk management strategies and help shape the company’s approach to emerging legal issues in the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications:

JD and bar admission, active and in good standing.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial contracting, with significant in-house experience at energy companies.
Demonstrated expertise in the renewable energy sector, particularly in wind and solar power.
Specialization in distributed generation, including both solar and wind energy storage technologies.
Proven experience in development, real estate, permitting, construction, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) related to renewable energy projects.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Compensation, Benefits & Location:

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $170,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
