WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Junior ESG / Sustainability Associate to join our team based in Liverpool, UK. This role, reporting to the ESG Lead, plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of our Global ESG strategy.

This position is primarily responsible for creating and implementing our Global ESG Data strategy, overseeing the quarterly collection of sustainability data, and managing it through our Carbon accounting platform. Additionally, you will provide valuable support in the execution of ESG-related projects and may occasionally be called upon to educate various stakeholders on ESG topics.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

Essential

Understanding of the GreenHouse Gas Protocol.
Familiarity with ESG principles and their significance to organisations.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in data analysis and management systems.

Demonstrated proficiency in project management.
Experience in stakeholder management.
Track record of making data-driven decisions.
Exposure to data and systems, with intermediate use of Excel.
Familiarity with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs.
Exposure to or experience in managing charitable partnerships.

Five GCSE Grade C/5 or above including English & Maths
A Levels (Grade C or above) or equivalent

Languages

English (essential).
Other languages advantageous (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin).

Travel

Must have a valid passport and ability to obtain visas as necessary.
