This role will require you to lead the Environments work for all applications and components of the environments, supporting our Projects and BAU teams.
You will be one of several for pod of environment leads working together to ensure that the controlled release of the new platforms and environments are suitable and implemented to meet the need of the business, help define the environments to be delivered into the non-production area and support and monitor the platforms during their lifetime.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the environment inventory.
- Generate monthly actual cost reports for running the environments.
- Manage Disaster Recovery for the environments as per our environment managers policy/procedures defined.
- Provide support on the config, platform updates and data refreshes.
- Resolve environment dependencies and work on continuous improvement/automated way of resolving any environment issues or repeated issue.
- Support on Environment Blueprint templates and runbooks
- Work with environment managers, technical Project Managers and Test Mangers to co-ordinate planned outage and environment refreshes.
- Manage requests for environment build activities, data refreshes, upgrades, access, and decommissioning.
- Create and maintain environment forecasts.
- Assist Environment team in maintaining environment plans.
- Assist with the set-up of external integrations and third-party system connections to the applications.
- Adhere to security processes and policies held within Dentsu International that apply to service accounts, certificate management, regular password changes, secure protocols for integration, record technical design drawings for external system integrations, etc
- Identify issues / risks and mitigation actions
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of system architecture best practices
- Agile Experience
- Azure experience
- Background in integrated systems
- Understanding of code branching
- Good experience of using Jira, Confluence, DevOps, MS Teams or similar collaboration tools, Plutora or any environment management tool
- Exposure to large scale projects/programme and working with 3rd party suppliers.
- Hold relevant industry qualifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile, Azure, any system related)
