Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Wind Turbine Technicians to join our Maintenance, Commissioning, and Evaluation (MCE) team or work as Trouble Shooters. As a FairWind Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Vestas wind turbines. We are looking for experience with the following: V100/110/116/120 for the 2MW platform and the V117/126/136/150/Enventus platform for the 4MW+ turbines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on wind turbines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Commission new wind turbines, ensuring they meet operational standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting to resolve turbine malfunctions and faults.
- Collaborate with the control center to address and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed and parts used.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance turbine performance and reliability.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working on Vestas wind turbines, particularly models V100/110/116/120 for the 2MW platform and V117/126/136/150/Enventus platform for the 4MW+ platform.
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel 100%.
