THE CREDIT ANALYST POSITION
Sunnova Energy is currently searching for a Credit Analyst for the Revenue Management department. The Credit Analyst is responsible for reporting on, implementing and improving processes within the Credit, Billing, Payment Processing and Collections function. This position is accountable to ensure processes in the outlined functions are timely and accurate. The Credit Analyst will also be accountable for helping develop new processes as new products are placed into market.
The position will analyze trends in collection results and recommend/implement credit procedures to improve future A/R results. The Credit Analyst will also be responsible for developing and supporting reports that define and monitor Collections and Credit/ Under-writing controls and results as well as monitoring the automated credit decisioning within Salesforce. The Analyst must be willing to do extensive billing and collections research as needed.
CREDIT ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES
·Gathers and reviews existing results in Collections and recommends changes in Credit policy to reduce bad debt expense and outstanding A/R on future acquisitions.
·Eliminates processes that lead to wastage of time and resources and improve time and cost effectiveness of the system.
·Enhances and executes the weekly reporting suite for Revenue Management.
·Creates requirements documents and tests processes that are currently manual as they move to automated in the new customer service platform.
·Coordinates with other teams within the company to ensure dealers are onboarded in a timely and efficient manner
·Maintains credit decision thresholds in system for all products, regions, and dealers
·Assists management in achieving the internal Revenue and A/R targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
·Education required: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.
·Minimum years of experience required: 3-5 years of credit/reporting/collections experience.
·Advanced/expert Excel and Word skills.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Additional knowledge, Skills and Abilities
·Ability to meet and achieve core credit and under-writing KPIs
·Detail-oriented, ability to work within deadlines
·Experience maintaining and developing various credit and collections performance measurements (i.e., Static Pool performance and Roll Rate Performance)
·Experience delivering financial and/or operational reports and results weekly and monthly
·Experience in writing and developing requirements for IT to automate existing reports and functions and then taking that through the project lifecycle
