JOB SUMMARY: This position is located in Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, in the Division of Interpretation and Education. MAJOR DUTIES: The major duties for this position include the following: Communications and Media Design Interpersonal Skills Multimedia Technologies Project Management As a key member of a digital media team, the incumbent will complete project work designing and creating a variety of non-personal services (such as brochures, exhibits, waysides, websites, social media, podcasts, etc.). The work utilizes a windows-based operating system to produce nonpersonal media using desktop publishing applications, digital video editing, still photography production, website creation and other software applications to facilitate the electronic development of non-personal interpretive services. Will be responsible for editing a variety of visual communications and presentation materials, such as, newsletters, pamphlets, brochures, fact sheets, fliers, spreadsheets, website content, and new releases using appropriate grammar and punctuation. This is a temporary seasonal position. The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area is February - August but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding.
